3:37 That's rich coming from a muggle who was merely just jealous of her sister for what she really was. Imagine if someone had to go through every single wand in the shop to find the right one. Y'know, sometimes I wonder if there are real fans here, who noticed that they said Sorcerer's stone instead of Philosopher's. The movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is a story of one boy who has a terrible childhood. Harry is treated amazingly poorly by his aunt and uncle, who, despite his being an "immense burden" adopted Harry after his mother and father's death. Upon Harry's twelfth birthday his life begins to change; wild unexpected occurrences begin to frazzle Harry's aunt and uncle, but the result of the change is a whole new life of which Harry could not have dreamed.
The movie in my opinion was pretty well done. Visually I think the CGI was great. Some of the action scenes the ones on broomsticks in particular were a bit cartoonish, but the overall visual experience was good. I think that the director did a good job of choosing the actors for this film. Dumbledore, the three protagonists, the Weasley twins, etc. were all great. Hagrid's character, on the other hand, was not as great, but I do not think it was the fault of the actor. First, his accent was impeccable. Second, he is visually a true match to Rowling's Hagrid. Where his character fails is in the lines that he was asked to memorize. Simple and repetitive. Rowling gave him many great lines and allowed us to get to know him. Why, script writers, did you not refer to Rowling's book when you asked the question: What should Hagrid say? In general I thought the writing for the film was OK, but Hagrid's dialogue was at best mediocre.
The flow of the movie was good it didn't drag at all. I thought overall the director stayed true to the book's plot with the exception of the beginning and the forest scenes with the centaurs. So as I stated above, the movie was pretty good, a nice start to the movie counterpart of a great book series.

I remember in the book before sorting ceremony Harry ask Ron How exactly do they sort us into houses to which Ron reply ‘Some sort of test, I think Fred said it hurts a lot, but I think he was joking. 😂😂😂😂. Anyone in 2017. 1:39 the first black piece to die after the initial pawn is shown to be the queen. She's still standing in her initial square flanked by the king and the rook. It's weird that Ron lost his most valuable piece so early, and weirder still that he managed to win after that. 0:49 Ron: what would you like to do if you had a magical power. Harry :kill you... Ron:okay 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. 2:17 - 2:17 is my fav part.

Did Harrys hair turned into a mullet at the end 4:04. I think Harry got upset because he saw Ron's face when he say I am all set😔😔😔😔😔😔😔. Best scene in this movie. I always thought the king dropping his sword to show he was defeated at checkmate was kinda cool. 0:48 Y'all what happened to Professor Sprout. *Puts Sorting Hat on Hermione's head Sorting Hat : Mudblood detected, Hufflepuff! End credits start rolling - the End. I love how Ian Heart acts. His character and him are very handsome. The casting in the first few films was beautiful. Childhood memories 😊. 4:11 Me when I'm in school's activity and wishing badly af to get same group with my friends. He really should have some wand testing range. This is hilariously impractical, i mean this must have taken hours...
